Discover the coastal charm and vibrancy of historic Henley Beach on this guided walking tour.

Enjoy a relaxed, easy walking 1.5 hour guided walk of about 2.5-3 kms through Henley Beach and uncover the fascinating story of how this seaside village began and grew into the vibrant suburb we know today. Hear stories from the past, and see some of Henley’s most important heritage buildings, including the Henley & Grange Soldier’s Memorial, Haighs Mansions, Del Monte, the original police station cells and other well-known landmarks.

Did you know there was once a train station on Military Road, right where the police station stands today? You’ll hear stories like this and plenty more during the walk.

Meet outside the Ngutungka Henley Library, 378 Seaview Road, Henley Beach.

Parking is available in nearby streets and in the library car park. We’ll finish at the Henley Beach RSL Clubrooms behind the library, where refreshments will be available to purchase and you can relax and chat about what you’ve discovered.
