The memorial hall commemorates those served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. It was originally built to honour those who served in World War One.

The women of Henley and Grange raised £250 for the beautiful stained-glass memorial window – equivalent to 100 weeks of wages. It was designed in 1919 and measures 3.9m by 1.4m. The stained glass window is considered a significant work.

Features of the hall include service and honour rolls and photos of those who made the supreme sacrifice.

The memorial stone was laid by the Governor, Lieutenant Colonel Weigall on the 23rd October 1921. The hall was officially opened in July 1922 and incorporates the Town Hall.

The hall is open on a few special days of the year.
