After welcoming members and reporting on recent work by committees, the President invited Colin Seymour from the St Kilda Tramway Museum to speak.
Colin presented an enlightening talk about the history of trams in South Australia with particular emphasis on the trams that were very much part of everyday life at Henley Beach and later Henley North up until February 1957 when buses replaced the trams.
